Everybody loves the soundtracks from the Guilty Gear games, so much so that they even have a reputation for their music. The lyrics to many of the strive themes and xrd vocal themes are spammed in many a reddit comment section. The +r soundtrack is also widely loved, with some absolute fucking bangers on it. But there is a GG games soundtrack that seems to go widely ignored even though I believe it to be at least like top 2. This game is Overture. Like I cannot overstate how fucking HARD the soundtrack goes and people just ignore it. Like damn wtf???????? It gave us the two best Sol and Ky themes, an absolute slapper with sin's theme, fucking DIVA, The Man, and people just don't listen to it. It has a top 3 vocal track in all of guilty gear with Worthless as the sun above the clouds. It has two entirely unappreciated character themes with Izuna's theme and Dr. Paradigm's theme. It gave us The Re-coming and Communication. Like some of these songs were so godamn good they were just straight up reused in xrd. It has like the only good GG mirror match theme with Misadventure and in my opinion the best GG song of all time with "The Fate Broke Down". Like bro, if you're reading this go listen to that shit its goated. Share the soundtrack with everyone you know, I guarantee it will make your and their life better.
