Current development/maintenance status of Gorilla web toolkit

Hello,

Please is the Gorilla web toolkit still in active developmet and maintenance?

I submitted an enhancement (https://github.com/gorilla/rpc/issues/88) for the rpc package. 

Before I clone the package and customize it to my needs I would like to know the current status of the rpc package maintenance before I take this route.
