The loss of one's mother is an irreplaceable one. May you all have the strength to bear this vaccuum.
We pray to God to grant the dear departed soul peace.

Dear Anantfua, Samir and Swati
We are very sad to hear of Jyotsnafoi’s passing. I am aware that she has had a rough time for a while, and  when I saw her last in New York, she just wasn’t herself.
We would like to remember her just as she was - the life and spirit of the Goradia clan and the glue that binds everyone together. Her affection and enthusiasm was infectious. I have such fond memories of her and Anantfua driving us for days on end to catch every bit of the gorgeous  Fall colours, of her  trooping out to find me when I completely lost my way back to Scarsdale, and her visiting Devaki in hospital after her surgeries following a massive fall, telling her never to stop being naughty and fearless.
We will miss her very much.
With love and hugs to all of you.
Thinking of you very much.
Love,Madhavi

Dearest Anantfua, Samir, Swati, Rajnifoi and Dilipfua,

I am heartbroken to hear the news today. We knew she was very unwell but somehow the finality is impossible to accept.

There are many many magical memories of wonderful times spent with dear Jyotsnafoi. Her cracking laughter and overwhelming indulgence of the family is unforgettable. The images of all the happy times spent with her in Scarsdale and here, continuously and rapidly flip before me today... feels like a bit of me is gone with her.

Our prayers for her everlasting peace and strength for you all to carry on. Like Samir says she is a free spirit again- exactly like she always was until her illness.

With our love,
Brinda and Gautam.

Thank you for these.  Even in passing, my mom remains the glue that has tried to keep the connections of our family together.  A lesson for us all to remain connected.  These stories bring us back to know her as she was and not the way she became when the burdens of age were too much for her.

So well said by everyone. We send all our love and prayers to Masa, Samir, and Swati and hope that you all realize how loved she was and really was the glue that held us all together.

We will always remember her as the firecracker she was and I like to think that’s where I get it from!

She will always be with us all and I hope she is laughing and back to her old self with all our other loved ones.

Please let us know how we can help.
