I personally enjoyed his even-handed, bilateral taunting. Although it has made me a little more frightened of him. I heard early in my playing career that in the front row "age and cunning (read treachery) are better than youth and vitality". We're all aware that BathMatt still contains some youth and vitality - remember the sideline catch of an Oat kick and subsequent destruction of Aaron Baier (Midget) during the first playoff game - but this is definitely evidence of an awakening of his cunning.

 

And TJ, it's a good thing the 'Boks don't play like you talk - "Why can't everybody just get along. We're all super special in our own special super way." - or those English wanks might have a chance this weekend.

 

And I'm not bringing a date to the windup, what's your sister doing Adam?

Everyone I would like to break up this banter to mention some recent news from the NSRU meeting. I hope that you have all made use of your Sobeys gift certificates because they're back. However this time there is a sweeeeet nugget in the whole deal. The NSRU, this time around, is going into the profit share business. The NSRU has set a taget of $1500 profit from this fundraiser. Anything above and beyond that will be redistributed to the clubs base on percentage of gift certificates sold. Again this results in no money out of pocket from you. Sobeys returns a percentage of sales back to the club and certificates of the full amount paid to Sobeys. But this time the clubs have the potential to make some money too. Just for the record, last time the NSRUs profit was over $2500. So depending on sales, the gophers could make a good few dollars back. And looking at the state of our jerseys, we need the coin.
