April 13th, May 4th - SRTC Meeting dates

Hi Stow Republicans -

 

A reminder that our next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, April 13th at 6:30 at the Randall Library in Stow (quick RTC meeting) and then at 7pm we will host Sam Meas, Congressional Candidate for our district.

 

Our next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, May 4th at 7:00 at the Randall Library.  I recommend that we table the discussion on the GOP principles until this date, or later, if need be.

Subject: Voting Rules on GOP Principles

We've had several suggestions on the SRTC principles.

 

Before we vote on this, we need an agreed set of rules to vote on the addition/subtraction of the SRTC GOP principles.

 

So, let me offer a suggested process:

 

1.) We need a quorum of 1/3 of the members of the town committee present to vote. The town committee are those who agreed to be on it AND are up to date on the yearly fees ($20).

 

2.) It will take a 2/3 vote at a quorum filled meeting to add or subtract a principle.

 

The exiting principles can be found on the web site at: www.stow-republicans.org

I agree with Ed that the principles be put past the November election.

 

We need to discuss the candidates and the potential cookout.
