Today we implemented support for repeating events into GooSync.
However, we are aware of certain issues with this implementation.

Weekly repeating events that contain multiple days (for example
repeating weekly on Monday, Thursday and Friday) are not fully
supported.

They will be synchronised from the device up to Google but not the
other way. But during the next sync this repeating event on the device
will have it's repeat structure removed (it will become a single event
on the start date of the repeat).

On some occasions, when syncing a repeating event from the device to
Google, Google Calendar will only show the first entry of the repeated
event, or the last instance of the repeat will be missing.

You can resolve this display bug by editing the details of the event in
Google, selecting the date picker for the end date, and then saving the
entry. This will force Google to show all instances of the repeated
event correctly.

Development are looking into these issues.

Also, you will find that only your repeating events that have an
instance within the current synchronisation time frame (7 days past, 30
days future) will be synchronised. If a repeat doesn't fall within the
current time frame (a birthday for example) this will not be
synchronised until it does fall within it.

I have downloaded and installed the latest version on 12/28. My
repeating meetings still do not show up in Google Calendar. I tried
updating the first entry in Google Calendar to force the repeating, but
it wouldn't allow me to. Any suggestions?

Correction. My repeating entries work, as long as they are on a weekly
basis. I have a few meetings that are bi-weekly and these are the
entries that are not being synced. Has this feature been implemented
or is this part of the outstanding issues?

Hi,

There appears to be an issue sending bi-weekly repeating events from
the device to Google but from Google to the device works as expected.

Development are looking into this.

Hi,

Development appear to have found the cause of the problem.

This will be included in the next GooSync update. This is planned for
the end of next week.
