Development are currently working on this problem and we're hoping to
have a fix available for the next update of the GooSync server.
Unfortunately there is no work around available at present.
We're aiming to have a new release available within the next couple of
weeks.
I have the same behavior on my Nokia E65 mobile phone. All day events
(like birthdays) get synced to events from 0:00 to 23:59 time events.
Any news from development yet? :-)
Frank
Unfortunately I don't have any more information other than development
have been making progress.
I'll try and get more information for later today.
can you give us an update - a couple of weeks has passed, so I hope
the problem is fixed now?
Best regards,
Andreas

My apologies, this post got pushed down after the update and got
missed.
An update to the GooSync server made on May 4th resolved this issue
for many devices.
If you have not synchronised since then please try once again and let
us know if you encounter any further issues. Please note that existing
entries that were synchronised incorrectly may not be changed back
with this fix.
I have not had the chance to check for a while but now did - and the
result is rather frustrating: Not only is the problem not fixed for
the M600i, it even became worse: Now GooSync does not only convert
birthdays etc. into appointments that take from 0:00-24:00 but on top
of this copies the entries as appointments from 0:00-2:00. After Sync
all anniversaries were transformed into two meetings, one for the
whole day and another one for the first two hours. Please prioritize
the fix as we need the service, have paid for it and simply cannot use
it as it is. Please let me know when I can expect it to work. Thanks
and best regards,
Andreas
