You can check your history in the web interface. If his calls are logged there then he is using your GV number.
Is there a way to tell if an incoming call/VM was made to my GV or my real cell number? I've looked through the settings and info for each incoming call and I cannot tell to which number the call was placed from the caller. I do not know which number this particular caller has of mine and I do not want to ask, that defeats the purpose of why I want this information. Thanks

Do you have the Google Voice application installed on your Android phone? If so, and you look under your GV history on your phone, if someone calls directly to your phone, it should not show up in the GV history on your cell phone either.
