I recently signed up for a Google Voice number, and set up the account. My understanding is that it can be configured such that a call to the GV number, 802-281-XXXX, will be automatically forwarded to a "home" phone number. I added a "home" number, went through the confirmation process (so GV successfully called my home number), and checked the advanced options to make sure it would forward to this number 24/7. The set-up all looks okay.
Unfortunately, calls to my GV number will not ring through to the "home" number. Voicemail eventually takes over instead. I am baffled. Does anyone know how to correct this?
