Effectively, you can type in an address in the combo. However lots of
people do not even try to do that, typing in a combo-box is not
something one get used to do. It would be nice to provide some visual
feedback for the user.

You can type a time in that box. In Firefox 8 in linux the cursor
doesn't appear (I think it used to) but you can type. In Chrome the
cursor shows.
