Stop either deleted or moved are not correctly displaying on Google Transit

We have made changes to three routes which involved changing the route
shape and several stops. Some stops were added, some moved and some
deleted completely. The line shape changes are displaying correctly,
but the stop changes are not. Why is this occuring?

Firs of all make sure that you are loading the correct stops files.

On the other hand you have to notice that stops have to be next to the shape in order to the system understands one stop belongs to this shape. You can find this information in googletransit specifications.

It can take a few weeks (or more) for the stops to catch up to the shape and route information. It seems that they are parsed and presented in a different way then the general transit feed.
