Goolge Maps - Capture Driving Directions

If we could capture the results of Google Map Driving Directions to
KML it would make the development of shape records much easier.

Any body figure out how to capture diving directions route lines as
KML? I thought this was possible once upon a time.

Bob,

Have you tried adding output=kml as a parameter to a Google Maps
directions page? I did that and was able to save a KML file I could
open up in Google Earth.

The &output=kml method did work today to download a line visible in
Google Earth - didn't work earlier in the week - strange. Imagine that
- undocumented features not working consistently! :)
