Either email addresses are anonymous for this group or you need the view member email addresses permission to view the original message

Hi,
I have a website and I want to display the box that allows you to
search for transit directions using google transit maps. I wanted to
know if there was a way to embed the search box? Is this even legal?
Any advice? Thanks!

There is a writeup in the GTDF wiki:
http://code.google.com/p/googletransitdatafeed/wiki/GoogleTransit_CustomFrontend I'm not an expert in legal matters, but those that have gone before
you have fared well as long as they designed their web site in a way
that made it clear the site was not associated with Google. Hope this
helps.

I think Joachim answered the question pretty well. I'll add that this
kind of form is fine by Google; we'd actually like to make it easier
to generate to the appropriate HTML to do it.
