Hi,

I just noticed that https://github.com/jiteshp/fastblog/ is using the Lato font from Google Fonts and this font is having problems with the Romanian language.

I checked, "latin-ext" was used in the fastblog PHP theme code.

Google Fonts is using version 1.0 of Lato Fonts (Update 2014).

In the meantime Łukasz Dziedzic has updated Lato Fonts to version 2.015 (August 2015).

What is the procedure on updating Fonts on Google Fonts? Does the Author have anything to say?  Łukasz has wrote on their website »We have no information when Lato 2.0 will be available on Google Fonts.«

Does feedback like mine help at all? In this case the license is the same, you don't have to ask for Ascender Corp to fix their fonts, like in the Open Sans case (https://github.com/google/fonts/issues/213).

Cheers,
Cristian.

I've opened also a ticket on GitHub https://github.com/google/fonts/issues/1356

Hope dies last.

Cheers,
Cristian.
