Hi,

I’m trying to download the clusterdata-2011-2 data using the gsutil utility as explained in the “Google cluster-usage traces: format+schema” document. I installed Python in Windows and the installation of both python and gsutil seems to be ok. However, I get the following error when trying to download the data by using

gsutil cp –R gs://clusterdata-2011-2/ destination-directory

namely,

“An attempt was made to access a socket in a way forbidden by its access permissions”.

No data is downloaded. Any idea why this is happening?

Thanks,

David

Sorry - I have no more data than is available on this web page: https://cloud.google.com/storage/docs/gsutil_install

Sounds like a problem with your system, rather than the cloud side.  Good luck.
