I was just wondering why there haven't been any new updates for over a year. Is there a better tool that has replaced GoogleCL?

Unfortunately, all of the original developers have not been able to devote time to GoogleCL. I'm not aware of another similar tool.

Correction! While going through some old e-mails, I remembered that Vinit Kumar cloned the project onto GitHub. It looks like there's been recent work on it, too.

Here is the link: https://github.com/vinitkumar/googlecl

Hello,

I have done some work on GoogleCL in past few months. The project is on Github, because that's where most of the OSS projects are.

I have done some work on updating few dependencies. Porting documentation from text  to markdown. Added pycco to the toolchain to enhance literate programming in the codebase and have imported most of the issues from google code to Github.

With that said, I am not very happy with the amount of time I had invested in the project. But I am looking for fellow developers to help me out with doing any of the tasks that could make the project better.

I would spend some more time this weekend on fixing whatever that is broken in the repository to make sure it is easy for anyone else to collaborate.

Thanks!
