GoogleCL Docs Recycle Bin

Hi,

I have managed to successfully install and us this tool to upload/
delete files in a CRON task I need to do.

The problem I am having is that when I delete files they go to the
recycle bin. This eventually fills up and counts as part of the
maximum space allowance. The bin needs to then be emptied manually
which defeats the point of what I am trying to do.

The following are questions I have for possible solutions:

Is there a command in GoogleCL which empties the docs bin? (I do not
think this exists in gdata so I doubt it)

Is there an argument in GoogleCL which I can set to make deletions
bypass the bin in the first place? (like a windows shift-delete type
thing).

In client.py of gdata-2.0.16 python library in the function
delete_resource there is the argument permanent=False. If GoogleCL
used 2.0.16 I would just hard code this to true and install everything
but it does not seem to exist in 2.0.14. Anything similar I can do?

Any other way I can empty this recycle bin or stop delete files going
into it? This has to be possible from an automated linux script (no
user input).

Thanks

I ended up going to gdata-2.0.16 for the script I needed to do for
work.

I also wrote up a set of simple instructions for 'a' way to do simple
things with Google Docs. This includes how to byspass the bin in
2.0.16

It is in absolutely no way an alternative to what GoogleCL offers,
just what I learned on the basics of gdata-2.0.16 itself.

Thanks, that's really helpful.  Lack of good docs in python gdata is one of the things making it slow to support 2.0.16.
