Hi,
I want to use the google Web Service to search pictures. But jpeg or
gif aren`t supported filetypes. How can I search pictures via google
using the web service?

the easiest way is to just add a "filetype:jpg" to the end of your
query. You can't actually specifically search images like in the
"Images" web site of Google.

Well after testing out all these methods I believe that you can't
actually search for images specifically. You might have to just search
for pages then manually go through the pages and look for links to
images and then get the images.
That or screen scrape the google image search site but that's generally
not a good thing.
