usage restrictions for spellchecking?

are there any usage restrictions for the usage of google spellchechking
via tools like 'googiespell' [1]? i searched the api docs/faqs but
didn't find any specific information on this topic (especially since
one doesn't seem to need an API-key right now to query the
spellchecking routine).

GoogieSpell doesn't use the Google Search API, it uses the service that
Google set up for spellchecking done by their Toolbar utility.

It's basically the same thing as scraping the data from google.com

I would imagine that Google isn't very much in favor of this approach.
While it technically works, I doubt that it's a Good Idea.
