Site Map suited to Gogglebot....

So I understand that having a site map in place that Googlebot can read
helps with SEO and general ranking potential....

I have been trying to impliment a site map for headleydesign.com and
have followed the Google guidelines - however, I am still getting an
ERROR message! Stating: Your Sitemap does not appear to be in a
supported format. Please ensure it meets our Sitemap guidelines and
resubmit.
I have uploaded the site map in both .txt and .gzip file types, but
still no joy...

Please can you give me some help/advice?
