I am looking for a way to get the number of links to a website, and/or
the number of pages indexed without needing to actually pull up the
search results. Is there an api that I can use for this, something
similar to Yahoo's Site Explorer API?

It looks like I could have done this through to SOAP api, but I dont
have a key for it. Is there an alternative I can use?
