Why there is not a GMail arabic interface
GMail is so popular right now in the arab world and wil be much more
after such a move from google
i wish that google would open the door for a translation job like
Google main site or groups which are all done by now expect for the
orkut (81%)

I heard that Gmail interface is already translated into Arabic, but it
seems they're having trouble with RTL languages.

yes, it's clear they have troubles with arabic...all arabic-written
e-mails are non-readable "khoza3balat" ... but i don't know about the
Gmail interface being translated into arabic or not

Regarding emails in Arabic, it should be noted that Gmail works only
with Unicode encoding. So any Arabic email that doesn't use Unicode
won't appear correctly in Gmail. The good news is that it's very easy
to compose an email in Unicode.

Yes, but this is a clear drawback for google, they must support more
types of encoding
