Need XML upload & download

Can we get some more consistency between your services here?

Thank you for the blog and comprehensive alerts!! But.. now I need
both XML download and upload for alerts.

Ideally, I would like alerts to function more like a spreadsheet, where
I could order by columns. (Dare I say like yahoo groups? I would also
like to be able to change column fields globally with a drop down box.)
It would be much easier if there were "tick" boxes with every line
(with tick or untick all option), especially for delete....
