KeyPress handler does not working for chrome browser

Hi,

i have added keypress handler for get textbox. its working for Mozilla browser but its not working for chrome browser.

could any one help me on this.

Use KeyUpEvent. Keypress is not fully crossbrowser.

More accurately, keypress is only about "printable characters", in all *but* Mozilla, where it's fired for each and every key event. Additionally, Mozilla fails to fill the charCode property of the event for the "enter" key.
It's however a total mess of incompatibility for repeated events, between browsers, but also for the same browser depending on platform.
