I have installed a clean version of Eclipse 3.7 and the Google Web
Toolkit 2.4 including App-engine and GWT. The designer shows up as
installed but I can find n way to invoke or use it. How am I supposed
to access it.

Have you tried opening one of your GWT UI classes (Java or UiBinder) with the WindowBuilder Editor (as shown in the docs)?

Apparently I am not looking in the right place for documentation. I spent an entire day looking for this information without success.
