We wrote a color picker for an internal application and would like to

Nice app. The combined RGB and hex value displays are convenient.

I like that I can hold down the mouse button as I slide over the colors. Nice.

Nice Work!

You have a bug in the setHex(..) method. It should also set the
preview color to the specified value.

I've used this about a year ago to demonstrate how to send hex colors to a connected Arduino with and rgb led. I remember it was a great find at the time. Have there been many improvements since then?
