back button and browser history in gwt

hi,
we are writing a gwt application. In that we are adding an
abosolute panel to the root panel.In that absolute panel we r adding
images and some urls(to generate url we are using HyperLink
class).When we click on any one of the hyperlink we r creating an
absolute panel and desabling the previous absolute panel and
activating new absolutepanel.In that new absolute panel we are adding
some more images.by desabling the old absolute panel we r able to see
the new contents.But we r unable to write the "back button" for
this..can u please help us.....

Have you looked at com.google.gwt.user.client. History?

To the browser, you're still on one page, so there's no "back" to go to.  You can use the hash part of the URL as "history tokens" to identify which panel you're accessing in a given state, and use forward and back arrows between them (if you assert states with History.newItem, then back and forward is supported via onHistoryChanged().
