GWT 2.5.0 backwards compatibility

I have an application developed in GXT 2 which uses GWT 2.4

Can I change the version of GWT to 2.5.0 without impacting my application. At least, is it meant to be like that?

Are there changes of API and things that are not backward compatible?

In the case this is not possible: How should I migrate?

Take a look at the release notes to see if any breaking change could possibly affect GXT 2:

There is one known issue that is affecting some users who update from GWT 2.4.0 to GWT 2.5.0 detailed in https://groups.google.com/d/topic/google-web-toolkit/H0Blv3C_fns/discussion. The easiest workaround seems to be adding requestfactory-server.jar to the server's classpath, but anything which makes the com.google.gwt.core.client.GWTBridge class available to the server should enable your application to work.
