project similar to GWT

Hello,

This post is directed at GWT developers, not users. (I don't know how
to reach you directly.)

I am working on a similar implicit ajax framework like GWT.
It is called "Pliant UI HTTP Proxy". You can see a demo of it here,

Pliant is a very cool language, and my goal is to create a complete
web-development environment
in pliant. I am nearing the finish line.

I believe that our projects intersect on the client side, because we
have to resort to the
same kind of javascript tricks, and we can benefit from bouncing ideas
at each other.

Sounds very similar to Echo - and therefore because it is server based
it will have the same issues that Echo has. Anything that performs the
bulk of its logic on teh server will never be as responsive/
itneractive as a fat client application.

I think picking pliant - a language that no one has ever heard of is a
mistake, why not use java ?
