The Official Google API Libraries for Google Web Toolkit - is the graphs part of this wrapper still under active development?

I'm playing around with http://code.google.com/p/gwt-google-apis/ and found that the visualization part was quite outdated/lacking features. From what I can see, the last commit to the graphs/visualization part of this library was late 2011.

Does anyone know the state of this project? Should I use it, or are there better alternatives
