error calling date class in entrypoint class

Hi,

In my application I added as a method in the EntryPoint class, say
for example convertToDateFormat(String date) method. So I got the
following error.

1.ParseException cannot be resolved to a type
2.import java.text.cannot be resolved a type.
3SimpleDateFormat cannot be resolved to a type . etc.
