Create components like Gmail

Hi

How can we create the UI component like the Gmail's Chat, Labels and
"Invite a friend" on the left of Gmail?

For example, we can expand/collapse the Labels.

In my opinion we can create UI component like Gmail's chat and so on
with using DockPanel.
We need to add click listener to the content of the DockPanel.NORTH
side and then
When clicked on the the content, we could show and hide the content of
the DockPanel.CENTER side.
Of course use some CSS.

Agreed, though the DockPanel is not necessary, the concept is
foolproof -- two panels, one with a listener, you click the thing the
listener is attached to to hide the other panel. I am not 100% sure
if this exists in an out-the-box way in GWT, but check out MyGWT --
there are some nice widgets there that do just what you are describing
out-the-box, and they look great, too!

I'm not a particular fan of the implementation, but yes, for a quick
and easy solution use DisclosurePanel:
