Hi,

how can I add selection row highlighting to a tree widget? Or is this ever possible?

Thanks

The css style  rules should allow you to set the background etc for a selected tree item.

CSS Style Rules

.gwt-Tree
the tree itself
.gwt-Tree .gwt-TreeItem
a tree item
.gwt-Tree .gwt-TreeItem-selected
a selected tree item

It did not work until I found that there seems to be a bug:
http://code.google.com/p/google-web-toolkit/issues/detail?id=3800&q=tree%20item%20selected&colspec=ID%20Type%20Status%20Owner%20Milestone%20Summary%20Stars

.gwt-Tree .gwt-TreeItem-selected  {
  display: table !important;
}

worked for me.

Just posted an update to this bug, if you have time to try it out and eventually provide it as a patch.
