GWT 2.8SNAPSHOT does not run properly with Java8

I use in my gwt.xml module and put

guava-18.0.jar
guava-gwt-18.0.jar

Is there a workaround for this problem?

I tested with the Guava 19SNAPSHOT and got the same error. 

Even with the fix proposed here http://code.google.com/p/google-web-toolkit/issues/detail?id=9036 it doe not work.
