Composites and visbility

Hello everybody,
I'm working on the following case:
I'v a root panel which integrates 2 or more composites. these
composites are foms. what is asked is to implement a composite in a
way that it hides itself and shows another composite.

As an issue to this problem I've overrided the Composite Class whith a
setRoot(Panel) method which enables us to call the Root Panel methods
like setting another child composite to visible for example.
Is there a native method for that or a developping way designed for
GWT ?
