Hello everyone, first let me let you know how pleased I am that there is a viable google voice API out there. You guys have done a great job.

I realize that the API is not meant to handle incoming calls, but is their a way to detect just the incoming call phone number? I would like to use this api to create an app that will pull up information from a database given the received phone number. AKA when the phone number is received, have the app display some relevant information for that number. If this api simply cannot do that, would anyone know how to go about obtaining that number any other way? I would be willing to work on a commit to implement this feature, I just have no idea where to begin.

Thanks,

Joey

I am not totally sure about this, but I think the API will not show
the incoming call until the call is over. If you have a way of
detecting the incoming phone number on the App side, if it is in
Android, then you could then just do a ContactContract lookup.

That's just the thing, I have no idea how to detect that phone number. I thought about maybe looking through the packets which I did, but everything is encrypted... =(

Also, although I do plan to port this app to Android eventually, my first goal is for it to be a native Windows App.
