subcontinents not highlighted on mouse over in IE

Hi,

I am using google Geochart API. When I used <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> then I found that continents and subcontinents are not getting highlighted on mouse over.on firefox it is working great.

I need this functonality and also the same doctype as both are very important for my project. Is there any solution or workaround for it. Please suggest..

Maybe in IE you have to emulate the document mod to IE9 you can see it when u click F12

Hi Am Dienstag,

Thank you for you generous information. Actually my problem is I am not getting the hover efect on IE 9 also. And my project requirement is from IE6,7,8,and 9. So is it possible in any way to get this hover efect?
