Hello,

Is is possible to capture a click event on the zoom buttons in the annotation chart?  I had hoped that clicking the zoom buttons would fire a rangechange event, but in my tests, it appears that they are not connected.  I would like to do this to reload the data set when I get too many data points.  Appreciate any help.

Thanks,

Nick,

I agree that we should fire the rangechange event when the zoom is changed by way of the zoom buttons.  That should be easy to add, but it probably won't happen for a couple months.

By "too many data points" do you mean that it slows down?  We have some other changes that will show up in the next release that speed up the display of a large number of data points, and allow the drawing to be done asynchronously so the user can still interact with the chart range filter reasonably.

Yes it slows down.  When I get over a day or so, there are way too many points.  I am collecting about 8000 points a day.  Beyond that is taxing.  So when someone pushes a week, I will utilize a different data set.  Still working through some of the kinks.
