I've developed a ruby gem called GoogleVisualr for use in ruby/rails
projects, and you can find it at https://rubygems.org/gems/google_visualr.

Source is also available at https://github.com/winston/google_visualr.

To quote myself:
"This Ruby gem, GoogleVisualr, is a wrapper around the Google Chart
Tools that allows anyone to create the same beautiful charts with just
Ruby; you don't have to write any JavaScript at all."

Hope this is helpful to any rubyists in this group, and feel free to
fork the repo!

Thank you!

Cheers,
Winston

I am using this Gem and it is awesome!
Winston is very good at responding with helpful suggestions and
guidance.
I highly recommend it particularly for your Ruby on Rails projects.
It works flawlessly with my Rails 3.1 app.
