Chart Help: Geo chart for true/false situations or Side A/Side B situations

Basically I want a chart that shows the world (or just Europe, in my case) where each country is either a yes or a no. Like a chart of the countries on each side of WWII, or a chart of which countries have agreed to a treaty and which ones haven't.

If that didn't make sense (I can see why) here's an example of what I'm trying to do :

Chart: Countries my ancestors came from

• Pink countries for maternal side, Blue countries for paternal side

The reason I don't just put in a numerical value like 1 for maternal, 2 for paternal, is because there is that little bar at the bottom going from min-max for the values given. If anyone knows a way to do a Geo graph based on Labels rather than numbers that would be great.

Hi Alex,

There's no way to do a chart from labels instead of numbers, but you can hide the GeoChart's colorbar by using the legend: 'none' option. Here's an interactive example: https://jsfiddle.net/v8v4t1cq/
