Creating an annotation area between annotation lines in line chart

I'm trying to create a filler between two annotation lines on the chart, which will have a different background color.

This behavior is visible in AdWords chart:

The dark grey areas are fillers between two consecutive values on the chart

Is this possible? Please help :)
