I noticed that in the GeoMap API, I have the ability to categorize my
data via the United States map by using the
"region: 'US' " attribute. This also divided my map into 50 sub-
regions (states).
I was wondering if anyone knew how to do this within the GeoChart API.
It seems that that using the "region: 'US'" no longer created my sub-
regions.

I missed this in the documentation earlier. Hopefully someone will
find this useful:
region:'US', resolution:'provinces'

Rick,
Would you mid post your entire JS for this? I must be typing something incorrectly, as I am not seeing states appear.
Thanks,
Owen
