I am using GWT Designer to layout a page. I can instantiate a visualization no problem using
the GWT Java wrappers (gwt-visualization.jar).

When I add a visualization to a panel in my Java source, it works fine, however its position
and size clobber the rest of my panel.

I've tried to import the gwt-visualization.jar into the 'custom' section of the Palette Manager in GWT Designer.
Yet, this leads to exceptions when I try place a visualization.

What am I missing?

Is there an additional file I need that contains meta-data regarding each visualization? Where 'tiz?

Cheers,
Cesium

You can not do this right now, because visualization components are not Java beans and require special initilization before using.
So, we need to add special support for them in GWTD, which requires time.
  I've opened issue for tracking.
