Google Sheets geo chart link and embed code not working

I reported this issue to G Suite support. They said it's not their problem and to post here. 

When you publish a geo chart in Google Sheets (in G Suite or consumer GMail), the provided link goes to a blank page and the embed code displays an empty frame.

The same thing happens when you try to add a geo chart to new Google Sites -- a blank frame. And this one is all within the Google platform.
