Sub-title and Source Text - Converting to Image

Im running into an issue where there is not widespread support for subtitle. Additionally, creating charts without a source line (usually below the chart) for converting into an image is a non-starter for some applications.

Has anyone played around with editing the SVG directly using jQuery before calling getImageURI()?

Right now Im thinking this is my only cludge option for consistency.

Any thoughts about practice on this?
