insecure content

i have created a google gadget using data visualization-grabs data from google spreadsheet and graphs. google gadget is then embedded in google site. every call is https. in chrome, i get error message stating that this is insecure content load/dont load. 

i found attached...is this still an issue

You can create a chart directly in google Sites avoiding gadgets all together

thanks. the intended functionality gives the user a couple of dropdown boxes and then depending on their selection, the chart/graphs will be displayed. i do not think google sites allows this interactivity with charts...for example, in dropdown box if user selects A, i just want a line graph of A to be displayed?

Sites does support adding custom HTML and even some restricted form of javaScript:

I am not sure it will be simpler than using gadgets but it might resolve your issue.

I don't have any update regarding the insecure content for gadgets.
