Hello all,

Firstly, a big thank you to everybody who has contributed to this
project - it has made my current project very easy to implement!

I am using the AreaChart (in isStacked mode) to great effect within my
project. However, the vertical axis never seems to get drawn - I'm
pretty sure my graphs would look better with a vertical axis. Any
ideas how I can get one?

Note: there is no vertical axis drawn even in the gallery

Best regards, Sam

Hi Sam,

Can you some more info on the issue, like at what browser it happens? Maybe some configuration inputs you're using.

I believe that once we'll have this. Me and the others in this group will be more helpfully to you (hopefully)

Roni - use the gallery example. It exhibits the same behaviour.

Hi Sam,

I'm very sorry, but I do not see any problem. What browser are you using?
I've tested this on the following browsers without any problem: IE9, FF3.5/3.6, Safari 5, Chrome 15/16 and Opera 11 (version 10 does not support SVG)

Is this problem on all browsers in your machine? If so, can you check on a different so to eliminate your machine?

Roni,

I understand that the default behaviour of AreaChart (and other
charts, such as ComboChart) is to *not* draw the vertical line that
denotes the vertical axis. I am asking if it is possible to draw the
vertical line. I feel it would make my graphs look a little prettier.
Is this possible?

For the avoidance of doubt, here is a screenshot of the example charts
from the documentation, with a note highlighting the missing vertical
line.

Does that make sense now?

Regards, Sam

Hi Sam,

I finally understood what you meant :-)
You can only set the hAxis baseline for continuous hAxis values. In bar charts for instance.
