I'm currently using Excel to create a "stacked combo chart" and was wondering if it's possible to use Google Charts instead? If so, how?
Nevada,
That's a very good question. I'm pursuing that sort of thing myself. So far, all I've come up with is a Node.js based solution that adds a taskpane into Excel. But that means everything is coming from the Node.js server on your own machine and it's unclear how to get the Javascript onto the server so that the call could be made to invoke Google Charts from the Web while referencing the necessary ranges in Excel to populate the chart. It's still a work in progress. Let us know if you come up with a different solution.
