Hi there,

My team plans to use the Google Visualization API for one of our web
applications, but we are dealing with sensitive data. From looking at
the "Terms of Use" it is clear that the security of data sent to the
google servers cannot be guaranteed. Could you please clarify what
components of the API exposes data to the servers? (So far, we are
using the Google Visualization API for charts, and we are also using
the JAVA API on the server-side to process queries.) Thanks for your
help!

I can't speak to the Java API, but each chart has a data policy which clarifies what information is exposed to Google (ex: http://code.google.com/apis/chart/interactive/docs/gallery/areachart.html#Data_Policy).  Most (if not all) of the interactive charts are run entirely client-side, and so none of the data is exposed to Google, but check everything you plan on using to be certain.
