Annotation style - line - how to implement

I want to use the annotation style "line" as alternative to the default "letter".

The manual says;
annotation: {'column_id': {style: 'line'}}

However this does not work for me, do you have a working example
so that I may check the implementation?

First of all, line annotations only work on the domain series (category/continuous axis values), not on data series.  Second, use the id or column index of the annotation column (not the domain or annotationText columns) as the object property.  See the example here: http://jsfiddle.net/NpUzn/

Is there a way to set the color of the annotation line? (default is something like #ddd)
